This three-story brick house at 122 Bond Street just hit the market at the relatively accessible (for the nabe) price of $1,625,000. The single-family house also recently underwent a major renovation, which by and large looks nicely done. So what do you think of that price? We could see it going for pretty close to that.

  1. “There are also black people who own homes in Boreum Hill who do not live in the projects. Just so you know.”

    AMEN!!!
    Thank you, East New York.

  2. Boerum Hill,

Your preemptive strike regarding the public housing in Boerum Hill (at 1:53) is sad to read.

It is wrong to suggest that people who note the proximity of public housing do so because they do not want black people on their sidewalks. There are many reasons why people avoid buying an expensive home too close to public housing.

You do race relations a disservice when you suggest otherwise.

P.S. I love your neighborhood, and would gladly live there.
Boerum Hill is beautiful and very convenient.
It’s not perfect (what is?) but it’s lovely.

  3. this is pricey unless one has money to burn. cute LITTLE house with BIG BIG price. someone will buy it but that doesn’t preclude it from getting pricey label.

    according to the flrplan, it’s showing 19 wide x 24 deep so yeah, it’s a 20 x 25 house with a 5 x 7 extension so that’s 1605 sq ft and yeah $1k psf >>>>> PRICEY

  4. and those are outside dimensions.
it is cute but teeny tiny for a house (and that PRICE). as nomi points out shallow has advantages, but short lot is another unfixable issue altogether.
boerum hill, we love your neighborhood!!

  5. The building is 20 X 23 without the addition = 1,380 sq. ft. The small addition is 65 sq ft X 3 = 195 sq ft

    Total is 1,575

The finished cellar is not legal square footage. It is below the garden level and has no windows.
