The carriage house at 20 Grace Court Alley was an Open House Pick back in June when it hit the market for $3,300,000. Two months later, the owners have yet to flinch on the asking price. It’s clearly a beautiful place in perfect condition so price is the only hurdle. The sellers paid $2,675,000 for the 2,550-square-foot house in 2005 and we assume they are the ones who did the most recent renovation. So what do you think they can get for it now?

  1. yeah, but you don’t live in (most) condos or co-ops for THREE MILLION DOLLARS… At least a little outdoor space would be nice for that sort of change, no? Especially since that area is a park-free zone.

(oh, wait, there is that new park on the water — what are the boundaries of that gonna be?)

  2. Damn, so all those people who moved to Brooklyn to live in condos or co-ops (with no yard) didn’t get the memo??

    This house is GORGEOUS.

I have some Brooklyn Heights gossip, but I don’t know if I can share it yet. It’s GOOOOOD….

  3. “Recessed lighting notwithstanding”

I suppose it is objectively nice, but not really my personal taste. I guess I just don’t understand why this would cost almost as much (or maybe as much?) as a real townhouse in the area.
