What’s a beautiful house in Crown Heights North worth these days? We have no idea, but this listing at 1265 Dean Street should help provide a data point. The four-story Romanesque Revival house is dripping with original detail, including some serious wood paneling, and is located on “one of the loveliest blocks in all of Brooklyn,” according to the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The corner location means lots of light but, on the downside, it also means higher taxes. The asking price is $925,000. Any guesses?

Only refers to “an exclusive 2 car parking area”. Fine for a car but I need a secured building for all the toys I’m going to get…

  2. This is truly a beautiful house… The first time I visited this home my jaw dropped… If you love historic 1892 detail this is the place for you. I love the the Roman brick and limestone combo. Dean Street is one of my favorite streets in NYC…

  3. That is a truly, truly beautiful house. And, if “unfinished renovation” meant that someone had left room for me to add the details/fixtures/etc. that I wanted, I’d be very excited.
