This single-family house at 657 East 24th Street in Midwood has a nice feel to it—and it’s hard not to covet the two-car garage. The six-bedroom pad traded for $625,000 back in ’07 and is now on the market with a price tag of $925,000. Any bets on whether this price flies? Seems like it might be a little high.

  1. Off-topic, but cwbuecheler, you play the skins? Me too! When I moved to New York, I bought electronic drums, which I could use in an apartment. Just plugged my headphones into an amp, put a carpet down to muffle the pedals for the bass drum and the hi-hat and away I went.

  2. ditto – nah. It’s too far south and WAY too big for what we need. Six bedrooms? We looked at a four bedroom in Kensington two weeks ago and were like “this is too much house (and yard) for us.”

Me, wife, two cats … we don’t need much.
