We’re in love with the bayfront brownstone at 448 6th Street that just hit the market. It feels historically authentic but not precious, and it’s a little different from your standard-issue brownstone. The asking price is $2,825,000. Given the current meltdown and the fact that the house is only 17 feet wide, that’s going to be tough, but, man, whoever ends up here is a lucky duck.

  1. Hey Biff, [Excuse me, I feel like I’m walking into a very tense room for some reason] – uhm, are you going to run another forum post for the Union Hall thing? Also, I wrote a note asking Mr. B if he is coming, but I don’t he saw it. Do you know?

  2. THL, I’m quite certain nobody wants to see that and your mere suggestion of it is sure to drive away potential partygoers this Thursday.

BRG, I have no issues with the fact you were mistaken about my orientation. However, once you see my rather questionable and poor taste in fashion, there will be no more confusion.

  3. THL…First of all, you need to get your mind out of the gutter. Not very “Lady-like”….I’ve been to one of those in Japan. Very, very expensive…even for Japan!!! I prefer the Japanese guy though.

  4. 11217, you’re usually quite calm, cool, collected, easy going and downright fun here. Seriously. Why are you attacking Nokilissa so viciously? She certainly didn’t go after you. She was lightheartedly asking if you had disagreed in the past. I know she didn’t mean any offense and I don’t get why you’re all over her case like this. Maybe you two have had differences in opinion over your taste in homes, but that’s no reason to disparage her and her family like that. I’ve always found her courteous, intelligent, friendly and very entertaining in her posts.
