If you don’t mind your townhouses on the skinny side, this new listing at 47 Willow Street might be a relatively inexpensive way to get your piece of the rock in Brooklyn Heights. (Yeah, we know, we’re not saying $2,400,000 is an insignificant amount of dough–just that it’s not a lot for a whole house in nice shape in The Heights.) The Second Empire brownstone has lots of beautiful original details (though the exposed brick on the garden level feels a little out of place). One upside of the house being narrow is that there’s no need for a supporting wall in the parlor floor so the staircase is open to the living area. Lovely!

Kind of reminds me of the house that is owned by the Woman who lives in a shoe … looks a kin to a tall boot. With all those stairs, that will be some workout if you remember, once you are in bed on the top floor, that you need to soak your false teeth in the kitchen sink.
My other concern is the BQE. Several studies show that living in close proximity to highways (and the BQE must be one of the busiest metr-urban highways in the US) is a leading cause of cancer. Good thing, at least your deformed kids will inherit the house and move to Breezy Point!

There are no pictures of the bathrooms.
The cracking at the headers of both windows in the bedroom is interesting.
What is that column between the window and the door at the front of the garden level?
It was sanitized and the old people personal belongings were removed before the pictures were taken.
This place needs a ton of work.

looks dusty as f*#@ and probably smells like old people. needs a major facelift.
Love the floorplan. I will, however, be the voice of dissent here on the furniture and decor, which I find ghastly.
