Some people must see “Bed-Stuy” and just start salivating. It honestly doesn’t matter what the topic, they have to poison the discussion with irrelevant and uneducated comments. Anyway, say it as many times as you want – really, just keep saying it over and over, or louder and louder, whatever makes you feel good – but many, many, many people making six figures are living quite happily in B-S.

Um, someone making 6 figures shouldn’t be looking to rent an apartment in Bed-Stuy in the first place. Maybe they should be BUYING A BROWNSTONE in Bed-Stuy. Get a Clue!

A decent apartment and a duplex or triplex are two different things. And if you cant stand bed-stuy, stay your ass out of bed-stuy. Where your anger is coming from is beyond me, but maybe the reason you can’t find a $1,500 apartment is the landlords with those apartments just don’t want YOU!
I happen to rent a GREAT $1,500 apartment to a single woman who LOVES THE PLACE. I doubt very seriously, I’d trade my tenant for the likes of YOU!. and it’s in Bed-Stuy. Stuy Heights to be exact!

Yeah, greek, I call bullshit. I get $2,500 for a floorthrough 3-bedroom in Park Slope. 1,200 square feet. This is not uncommon.
I’m sorry, I don’t really care what a “triplex” is. Bed Stuy sucks, and no one making six figures is going to want to live there, and people who want to live with roommates can afford much better neighborhoods with only a slight increase in their monthly rent.
Why pay $2,500 in Bed Stuy when $3,500 will get you an awesome 3-bedroom in Williamsburg? Most single types who get roommmates will gladly spend an extra $250 a month to you know, not get SHOT!
