Co-op of the Day: 135 Ocean Parkway, #14H
We’re probably just falling for the dark floors, but something about this one-bedroom co-op at 135 Ocean Parkway (a recent addition to the Brownstoner Marketplace) is grabbing us. We’re probably just falling for the dark floors, but something about this one-bedroom co-op at 135 Ocean Parkway (a recent addition to the Brownstoner Marketplace) is grabbing us. While we wish the ceilings were a little higher, the wide windows and killer 14th-floor views seem to make up for it. Plus, the kitchen, while not large, has been tastefully renovated. As for the price of $280,000, it appears to be in line with several other high-floor one bedrooms in the Kensington building that are also on the market right now.

> I’m not trying to be argumentative
I hear ya. I don’t see it as that big a deal, but agree it would be an improvement.
I’ve looked at a couple of apartments in this building. I’m not crazy about the location, but the views from high floors are awesome.
I’m not trying to be argumentative, but ET has raised an issue that many, many readers have already complained about. Repeatedly. Pretty sure the issue is not that Mr. B hasn’t noticed. He has, and he has decided he wants the link to go to HIS marketplace listing, not the broker.
That’s his call.
nice interiour, but for realz the outside of that building and landscape looks EXACTLY like a senior citizen’s home

> It’s annoying and a disservice to us readers.
You’re right. You should demand your money back.
Pardon me, BH, my bad.
Since the floorplan is only a click away, how much of a REAL problem is it?
Is Mr. B supposed to hold the broker’s by the hand and insist they upload the floorplan with the rest of the pictures?
DS, I do that. See BH’s explanation.
It’s annoying and a disservice to us readers.
Plus I’m lazy and hate doing twice the work.
I <3 floor plans.
Reading comprehension down? ET said “…and then have to go to the realtor’s site to see a floor plan.”
Since this complaint gets logged 3-5 times per week, and has been an ongoing complaint for months, I’m guessing you should expect nothing to change or improve.
ET – Just click the link on the right that says “See listing on broker website” and you will get a floorplan.
