This FSBO at 299 13th Street in the South Slope has a nice, clean feel to it. Clearly recently renovated, the Brownstoner Marketplace listing has two south-facing bedrooms and a very attractive open kitchen. The only major drawback as far as we can see is the fact that there’s only one bathroom and it’s at the opposite end of the apartment from the bedrooms. The maintenance is a low $552 and the asking price is $460,000. What do you make of that?

No kidding. It’s an office at best. Or can we start calling these rooms “Infant Storage Units”?

The same place most apartment stoves vent to: absolutely nowhere.
The kitchen was most likely walled off originally. Rather than move the gas line (which may not have been an option) then just opened it up and left it as is. Other units in this building have the same setup. As for what looks like the Murphy bed, that was there from the previous owners.

Stove being in the open is a bigger killer than the bathroom placement.
Something odd about the bed. Are they sleeping across the width rather than the length?! Maybe a family of fat midgets.
How did I know rob would find the bathroom set up ideal?

I actually kinda like the place, but by calling this a 2BR, I feel like the seller is a liar, and it makes me wonder what else he may be hiding.
