This two-bedroom co-op at 240 Prospect Place in Prospect Heights has a great feel to it: Nice prewar vibe combined with a modernized, albeit not sexy, kitchen. There’s also a formal dining room. And the fact that it’s on a corner means lots of windows. All good. The monthly maintenance is a modest $896 and the asking price is $725,000. What do you make of that?

  1. not bad, I think the master bath should be a closet, never can have enough closet space. and really, 1 bathroom is enough, how many people will be living there ????

oh and the guests can use the same bathroom as me, it is really no big deal.

  2. in park slope, 725k has a shot. in prospect heights, they might as well spike the drinks offered during Open House dates. price aside, this is a nice looking unit and the location is good

  3. Wow. Thats my grandmothers apt. Very strange seeing it listed here. Havent been there since 84. 725k!!! If we all would have known. We were able to run around from the dining room to the living room and back around to the dining room, the closet, tub and shower stall was a long hallway.

  4. Kind of strange layout, and too bad no room dimensions on the floor plan. Looks like they’ve sacrificed the “guest bedroom” (could even a twin bed fit in thare?) for the master bath. This is an apartment that really doesn’t need 2 full baths. No dogs is another bad thing.

  5. After spending an entire summer and early fall looking at 2-bedrooms in Prospect Heights, I concluded that it is actually more expensive than Park Slope. Probably overpriced, but I don’t doubt it’ll sell.
