This attractive two-bedroom at 115 Willow Street was just reduced from $675,000 to $635,000. It’s in a very nice prewar building and has plenty of prewar details. Since the price isn’t particularly high for the Brooklyn Heights location, we’re assuming that the small kitchen and/or the lack of a second bathroom must be holding it back.

I cannot possibly *ever* think FOUR THOUSAND PER MONTH is a decent price for a small 2-bedroom apartment. This is absurd. There is NOTHING you can point to to suggest otherwise.

    au revoir!

It’s all relative, and we all have our breaking points. Call the absurdity point. For me its the $18K per month rental. For you its the standard price point for most two-bedrooms in this nabe (our annual costs will be around $44K, and that’s pretty much average normal mean median et al).

But when you distill it down, we have more in common than we realize. This effing housing market is insane!!!

I love Mermaid man at the Sandy Shoals retirement home in Spongebob. God bless Ernest Borgnine.
