On the other hand, some of the numbers might be working against it: Monthly maintenance of $799 (for a 400-square-foot apartment) and an asking price of $375,000. A little too rich for our blood, even if it is “Paris in New York,” as the listing claims.

  1. delepp, this was originally two brownstones that were converted to multiple dwellings. When the stoops were removed the developer decided to do something special with the facade and he certainly did. The original redo from the ’20’s was stunning as you can see in that link.

  2. i know i’m really pulling at strings here, but it appears this apartment is directly above the building front door(s). That would be a huge deal breaker for me. As you’d have to listen to doors slamming all day, deliveries..etc.
