We suspect that this co-op at 24 Monroe Place will sell quickly. The Brooklyn Heights one-bedroom, which is in one of the nicer apartment buildings in the neighborhood, has plenty of prewar charm and appears to be in very good shape. And at $449,000, we’re sure there will be some 32-year-old Cravath lawyer just waiting to snap this up.

  1. grand army, my point is that the two interior photos don’t show a home, they show a room with some lousy office furniture. If all of the other rooms are staged like this, it does not scream apartment on Monroe so much as office in downtown Brooklyn. Maybe that’s why they don’t show the other rooms – the interior photos actually detract from the sales pitch.

  2. Looking at the floor plan, at least you can open the bedroom door and work on your 10-pin strike from the front door. Just beware of birth trauma each time you pass from the bedroom to the living room.
