We suspect that this co-op at 24 Monroe Place will sell quickly. The Brooklyn Heights one-bedroom, which is in one of the nicer apartment buildings in the neighborhood, has plenty of prewar charm and appears to be in very good shape. And at $449,000, we’re sure there will be some 32-year-old Cravath lawyer just waiting to snap this up.

  1. thwack – net costs for this place is alot lower than $3,000. Anyway, to echo the above, mid-level Cravath associates can generally afford alot more than this. Though, not usually over $1 Million.

LMAO. All a Cravath associate (or partner for that matter) needs is a studio because they sleep at the office, if at all. There’s a reason Cravath has showers on every floor.

  3. is brownstoner shilling? “has plenty of prewar charm and appears to be in very good shape” – there are no photos of kitchen or bath? what exactly is in good condition besides maybe the floors, and that’s hard to tell.
