This three-bedroom apartment at 560 Dean Street in Park Slope hit the market last month with a price tag of $749,000. While the three bedrooms are all real bedrooms, one of them is super small. Another qualifier: There’s only one bathroom for the entire apartment. That said, the co-op has lots of original detail and a generous living/dining area. On top of that, the monthly maintenance of $630 is quite low. Overall, it looks like an interesting option for a family with a couple of kids.

Great layout and more than one exposure.
I’m with architerrorist – we had a place with exact same layout (but only 1 BA) and moved as the kids got bigger. That third BR is mighty small, works until maybe K or so. We had the fretwork too and I loved it and we sold it to people who painted it white right after closing.
It’d be a perfect place for a 1 child couple where one person works from home.
I like the layout, it works. I like all the seperate rooms, all have windows and a seperate kitchen and dining room where a actual table and 4 chairs can really fit.
not the location, but this layout is better tan the 2 room crap they have out now.
the “master” bedroom, so skinny, will end up as one of those bed against the wall bedrooms…miserable!
I think we don’t know the true ramifications of the AY site yet. I’m betting that Ratner thinks he can get away with just about anything and that has bad ramifications for the way the construction, the noise and the traffic are managed.

You would think so, babs, but check out this Elliman house for 2M on Carlton — right by the highway and the construction site for extra doses of CO2 –.
