On the downside, we don’t care much for the kitchen and bathroom stylings. Think it’ll get its asking price of $575,000? There’s an open house next Saturday from 11 to 2.

Maybe a little bit small for the price but not out of the question. They make a big point about the roof rights allowing you to turn it into a duplex but it looks to me like this would fall within the proposed historic district, right? Seems like you’d really need to get moving if you wanted to get plans approved before it gets landmarked. Now that the districting question is officially on the calendar I think there’s already some extra regulatory hurdles to jump through.

Oh, they’ll lie through their teeth about square footage but have strict definitions about whether a room (with a window) qualifies as a bedroom? Gimme a break!
We used to live in this coop (first floor) and it is really a fantastic unit and a very friendly coop with excellent financials. Quiet, convenient and well maintained.
priced right? its not a true 2 bed which is probably why its a fsbo, brokers wont list these guys as 2beds.
