Things have been going pretty well over at 660 Bergen Street, the 16-unit Karl Fischer-designed condo development in Prospect Heights. When we took its temperature back in March, six apartments were in contract. And now? 12 are either closed or in contract, leaving just four still up for grabs. Probably not coincidentally, they are all first-floor duplexes. Still, overall an impressive showing in this market.

  1. My husband and I are seriously considering one of the ground floor duplexes. Gone back and seen it a few times. any thoughts from people who’ve bought and lived in this complex? Lots of scandal re: A&H and Fischman: any credibility there?

  2. So is it just me, or do the floorplans for the remaining 1 bdrm units look like the bedrooms are in the cellar with a 1/2 bath?
If so, it doesn’t seem to match the photos on the brokers website which seem to show a bedroom with a large, bright window.
Should I be shocked if the broker is showing photos of a different apartment??

  3. 4th Avenue developers take note – for the right price, things will sell. These prices were reasonable.

There aren’t enough idiots any more to sell things in non-prime locations for $750 sq/ft.
