My favorite bar is in Williamsburg…Spuyten Duyvil!!
I was just there over the weekend folks!
I’m much more complex than my obnoxious Park Slope ra ra ra persona would lead you to believe. 😉
“I’m going to the Motorino in the East Village.”
And which East Village places are you going to afterwards??????
I think “then” was correct, Kens.
HAHAH no no no.
I’m going to the Motorino in the East Village.
But I DO go to Williamsburg often! I’ve said that before. I just think it’s ugly and I’d never want to live there. A couple of nice restaurants and bars though.
Wow – 11217 goes to a party in Bburg? What’s next? Montrose decides to move into the Meier tower???
then=they
11217, WTF!!! After motorino, swing by Brooklyn Social. Apperently Dave is the brownstoner bully and if he doesn’t take my drinking money by then, I’ll buy you a drink.
11217, its partly a joke and partly truth. Benson meant it as a joke in a sense that wife liked Park Slope much more than other nabes that he considered and he didn’t mind it too much to have a huge argument over something like that. It’s a tough decision and sometimes when you can’t compromise, you let one party “win”.
There is an old saying that goes along the lines that if a couple can live through renovations of a house, then can live through anything. I can imagine this being pretty true as its hard for one person to make renovation decisions (colors, tile, floors, type of kitchen, etc etc etc). Can you imagine two people being involved?
11217, YOU’RE GOING TO WILLIAMSBURG?????
