All of our Open House Picks from six months ago have either sold or are in contract.

At a Classon Avenue brownstone in Bed Stuy (right on the Clinton Hill border) a newly renovated four-story — so newly renovated that the work was still in progress six months ago — is in contract. A four-bedroom owner’s triplex sitting over a garden rental, the property was last listed for $2.495 million.

Over in Park Slope, the sale of a limestone pick near Prospect Park was no flip job — it’d been in the same family for 60 years. A three-bedroom duplex with a top-floor one-bedroom rental, the property called for some upgrading. It sold in February for $2.785 million, $90,000 under its $2.875 million ask.

The second four-story Bed Stuy brownstone, this one located on Putnam Avenue, has a two-bedroom duplex on the bottom with a pair of one-bedroom rentals above. “Fully tenanted” and “suitable for an investor or a ‘future owner-occupant,'” according to the listing, the property sold for $1.705 million in December, $10,000 over its $1.695 million ask.

The last pick, a three-story, aluminum-sided job on Madison Avenue in Bushwick, has a unit on each floor. This one also comes complete with tenants (though they’re on month-to-month leases) as well as hardwood floors and some original details. The property is currently in contract and last asked $1.195 million.
