During this hot week in Brooklyn, we’re back to look at four of our featured listings from six months ago. They’re located in Sunset Park, Bed Stuy, Midwood and Park Slope. How did they fare?

First up, this nicely proportioned one-bedroom across the street from Sunset Park has some prewar touches and a renovated kitchen and bath. Located in the Sunset Park North Historic District, the apartment is on the third floor of the walk-up building and it has multiple exposures, wood floors with inlaid borders, crown molding and painted window trim. The building has a live-in super, laundry and bike storage. Maintenance for this unit is a reasonable $474 a month and includes a private storage area. A former Co-op of the Day, it sold in April for $600,000, which was $5,000 above the asking price.

In Midwood, an early 20th century single-family brick house has windows on three sides and a garage. Inside are arched doorways, wood floors, the original stair and stained glass. It’s set up with living, dining, kitchen and powder room on the first floor and bedrooms above. While the wet rooms have been updated, some vintage features remain, such as circa 1930s kitchen cupboards, an arched bathtub niche and blue bathroom tile. The finished basement contains laundry and an in-law unit with a full bathroom and kitchen, which could pose financing challenges. The yard is paved. This former Open House Pick sold in May for $1.045 million, which was $44,000 below the asking price.

Moving on to Bed Stuy, this two-family is overflowing with lush details, including an abundance of unpainted woodwork. There are columned room dividers, mantels, a stair hall mirror, wainscoting, a window seat and more. Sited at the end of a row in the Bedford Historic District, the house is set up with a garden-level one-bedroom rental and an owner’s triplex above. A wealth of unpainted woodwork is on the parlor level with Ionic column room dividers, a fireplace with overmantel mirror in the front parlor, and built-in bookcases in the middle parlor (some missing their leaded-glass fronts). The garden-level rental isn’t pictured but has a living room and dining room along with bedroom, bath and kitchen and access to the rear garden. This former House of the Day sold in April for $2.72 million, which was $25,000 above the asking price.

Last up this week is an extra wide Park Slope single-family that offers a period interior dripping with Victorian-era-inspired wallpaper as well as white-walled sleekness. The lower floors of the house are filled with original details, including mantels, wood floors and moldings, while the top floor has been renovated into a modern bedroom suite. Thanks to its 27-foot width, the house has two good-size spaces in the rear of each floor, giving it a roomier feel than the average city row house. And due to the 35-foot-wide lot, the house is also detached on only one side, bringing in light from three exposures. The garden appears to have gotten some attention too: It is landscaped with a large patio, brick-edged lawn and planting beds. A side walkway running from the front yard to the rear allows access to the backyard without going through the house. This former House of the Day sold in April for $5.98 million, which was $20,000 below the original price.
