This week, our look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Prospect Lefferts Gardens and East Flatbush. How did they fare?

First up is a one-bedroom unit in Prospect Lefferts Gardens with some original features, including arched openings and a built-in niche, along with a fully renovated interior. The first floor apartment has a practical layout, the same as in the original floor plan, with rooms radiating off a spacious foyer that includes three closets and two built-in bookshelves. The wood floors that run throughout the foyer, living and bedroom all incorporate inlaid medallions, an original feature that makes an appearance in other units in the building as well. There’s a sunken living room and a windowed kitchen that got a modern reno. The building has a live-in super, an attended lobby during the evenings, bike room and laundry. Maintenance for this unit is $612 a month. This former Co-op of the Day entered contract in April.

Next, in East Flatbush, this early 20th century brick row house has been in the same family since the 1960s and looks neat as a pin on the interior. Details on said interior include a wood-slatted ceiling in the porch, moldings, tin ceilings and newel post. The dining room sports a coffered ceiling, wainscoting and a plate shelf. There are four bedrooms, two large and two petite, and a full bath on the top floor. Another full bath and laundry are in the finished basement. This former Open House Pick sold in May for $910,000, which was $11,000 above the asking price.

In Park Slope, an early 20th century townhouse by Brooklyn architect Axel Hedman seems to have everything in extra measure. Triple parlors, two intact pass-throughs, seven mantels, pocket doors, a window seat, wainscoting and more can be found inside, and the single-family sits on a block adjacent to Prospect Park. Most of the original details are in the triple parlors, with plasterwork and painted woodwork at the front; the unpainted woodwork of an original stair and built-in bookcases on either side of the mantel in the middle; and wainscoting, a coffered ceiling and the window seat in the dining room at the rear. French doors lead from the dining room into a decidedly more modern kitchen designed by architect Paul Cha for the previous owners. Upstairs are two floors of bedroom space with two bedrooms on each level. The finished basement includes a family room, laundry room, storage and full bath. According to the listing, the house has “state-of-the-art systems,” including security and central air. A former House of the Day, it sold in June for $5.4 million, which was $350,000 below the asking price.

Last up, we have a Brooklyn Heights Italianate brownstone built around the 1860s or ’70s that won a Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award in 2010 for the exterior restoration and interior renovation by NV/da architecture. A two-family configured as an owner’s triplex over a garden rental, it features seven mantels, original woodwork, a finished attic, sunroom, deck and a nicely landscaped backyard. The parlor floor has a living room in front and, in the rear, a kitchen with open dining and a sun room. The two levels above both have two bedrooms and a bathroom, and all the wet rooms are recently updated in a modern style. The one-bedroom garden rental is spacious, with its own laundry and an extra room facing the garden that could be used as an office, studio or dining. Both units have access to the backyard, which has a brick patio with space for dining and a lawn surrounded by mixed borders. This former House of the Day is still available for $7.45 million, a $300,000 reduction from the previous asking price.
