This week, we’re looking back six months at some our featured listings to see how they fared. They included a rustic charmer in Red Hook and singer Santigold’s brownstone in Bed Stuy.

First up, a stately and comfortable brownstone in move-in condition, in prime Brooklyn Heights. It’s at 161 Hicks Street, near the Promenade and the 2/3 trains at Clark Street. It’s got all the details and trimmings you might want from a brownstone as well as modern comforts such as zoned central air. This House of the Day sold in April for $5.2 million, $50,000 below ask.

This Bed Stuy brownstone is a head turner, with choice original details and some bold design choices that will thrill some buyers and turn off others. If it looks like it wasn’t the work of your average brownstone dweller that’d be correct — it’s the home of the flamboyant and genre-blurring singer and producer Santigold. This House of the Day is still available for $1.85 million, a price cut of $100,000.

This Red Hook condo has a lot of space, triple exposures, some rustic charm and a private roof deck with views of the harbor and Manhattan skyline. It’s one of two apartments in a former industrial building at 156 Conover Street, with a commercial space on the ground floor that looks to be vacant. This Condo of the Day sold in June for $1.625 million, $125,000 below ask.

Finally, a two-family house on Sterling Place in Crown Heights that’s newly gut renovated, including a new brownstone facade where aluminum siding recently stood. It’s a large one, about 1,000 square feet per floor. There’s no floor plan, but the listing tells us there’s a three-bedroom rental on the top floor and an owner’s duplex with “two or three bedrooms.” This Open House Pick is still available.
