This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in East New York, Brooklyn Heights, Bed Stuy and Greenpoint. How did they fare?

First up, in East New York, a wood-frame single-family with bay windows and a porch has potential. The living, dining and kitchen are together on the first floor, and there is a very large yard with a patio and an above ground pool in the rear. This former Open House Pick sold in January for $900,000, which was $11,000 below the asking price.

In Brooklyn Heights, the most remarkable feature of this well laid out one-bedroom in the former St. George Hotel is a terrace that’s bigger than the apartment. The unit, which appears to be in move-in condition, could be a showstopper with a few style tweaks. There’s plenty of room for books in the recessed niches of the open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, which overlooks the enormous terrace. Adding a partial divider could keep the kitchen out of view while preserving the apartment’s open feel. This former Co-op of the Day sold in December for $925,000, which was $50,000 above the asking price.

This Bed Stuy Queen Anne is an intriguing one, even with only a glimpse of a few rooms. There is lots of original woodwork, albeit painted, as well as a pier mirror and mantels in the estate condition three-family at 259 Jefferson Street in the Bedford Historic District. The handful of listing photos show some of the details that have survived on the interior, and the listing promises more, including built-ins, pocket doors, six mantels and wood floors. This former House of the Day is still available with another broker for an asking price of $2.43 million, a price cut of $70,000.

Finally, wide planked floorboards and a fine black marble mantel provide some clues to the vintage of this Greenpoint wood frame, which combines some 19th century character with the modern amenities of a more recent renovation. The 22-foot-wide and 30-foot-deep house is set up with an owner’s triplex above a garden-level apartment that is fully above grade. The owner’s triplex has parlor, kitchen and a half bath on the parlor level and two floors of bedroom space above. This former House of the Day entered contract in January.
