On Sunday we finally found the time to visit two of Berlin’s best-known flea markets. The first was a smaller and better-curated flea market at Arkonaplatz, which is in Mitte or Prenzlauerberg, depending on who you ask. We also walked a few blocks north to the massive market in Mauerpark. This one offered rows upon rows of vendors selling everything from guitars to socks. Right next door in the park, there was a rock band playing in a stone amphitheater. Quite a scene.

  1. yeah that berlin flea looks about as diverse as the broooklyn flea as well lol

tho im not one to give a crap about diversity. if it’s there, it’s there. im not gonna pine for it. it doesnt seem like most people mingle much anwyay

    *rob*

  2. There’s plenty of good cities that aren’t very diverse. Not that you’d want to spend your whole lives there, but a couple of years woiuyld be fine. Lost of countries don’t have the immigration or other historical issues that give the US its diversity.
