If you’ve noticed some lights on at Avalon Fort Greene, the mammoth new rental development at the corner of Myrtle and Flatbush Avenues, that’s cuz somebody’s home. There are now 78 apartments being occupied at the 650-unit project, which started marketing around Labor Day and only become ready for move-ins a couple of weeks ago….
If you’ve noticed some lights on at Avalon Fort Greene, the mammoth new rental development at the corner of Myrtle and Flatbush Avenues, that’s cuz somebody’s home. There are now 78 apartments being occupied at the 650-unit project, which started marketing around Labor Day and only become ready for move-ins a couple of weeks ago. An additional 72 apartments have been rented, meaning the building’s now 23% rented.

I’m the farthest thing from a shill. I’m a normal person who goes to work and wants to come home to something nice. Like i really care if you move into Avalon or not. Or whether or not you actually like it. My lease is signed, my deposits been made so I’m moving regardless of all the negative opinions. All i said was why i was moving there and why the comments prior to mine that bashed the building were all obscene.
Its kinda annoying to come on here and read all the comments in post about luxury high rises in Brooklyn and everyone of them negative. Not just in this post the previous ones as well. It’s very one sided. And the minute someone’s not on the anti “insert new rental development outside of bourgeois Brooklyn here” bandwagon you all go up in arms screaming “SHILL”!
