i like the look of this exterior. looks like the inside of a computer. its nice. i like the simple, small balconies. even that detail- so much better than the curvy balconies the small time blue-brick developer chooses.
It almost seems as if they read the comments on 75 Grand last week! So, developer of 75 Grand, when you wonder where your renters are, look across the street.
Went to the open house yesterday. The location isn’t ideal, but not as bad as I would have thought. The 2 bedrooms skimp a bit on the living space in favor of larger bedrooms. Some of the one bedrooms are oddly layed out and most importantly a few of the lines lack closets. According to one of the brokers there, they had already taken deposits for 10 apartments by yesterday afternoon, so apparently they are moving fast. I was told that move ins are January 1.
On the one hand, I want to criticize this for a crappy location. On the other hand, the prices aren’t awful for what appears to be attractive interior design.
Disappointing that the listings don’t include bedroom photos, bathroom photos, or floor plans.
And as NYGuy7 points out, the cheapest net effective rent is 1741; 1174 seems to be a typo.
According to that website, the cheapest place listed there is 1,741 for a 1 bedroom.
Not the best location when you’re basically next to the BQE and the most locally owned thing next to the building is an auto-body repair shop.
But people are willing to pay stupid prices for anything.
