Pretty impressive!

Mr. Dahill, welcome back. We must talk.
teamslap, I thought certain middle schools stopped taking students from outside their districts in recent years?
is it a race to see who gets to $1000psf first?
btw why does everyone refer to this as a 15 footer? thought it was 16.5
What does more conservative than Park Slope mean? Voting Republican? Not liking French bistros? Stoning witches and homosexuals in the public square? Wearing suits with wide shoulder pads?
the middle class is hurting but the rich are richer than ever. What’s 2.6 million dollars to them for a house? As long as their rides to work and school are nice and convenient via the BB tunnel; there’s no nosy co-op board; and there are enough bedrooms for the kiddies and maybe a live-in maid or nanny. This house could easily have five bedrooms including one in the garden level.
No zoned public middle schools or high schools in NYC. Students apply to any MS and HS school they want. If you live next door to coveted MS or HS, it has no bearing on your application.
Private school tuition would be chump change to someone who can buy a $2.7 million house.
Doesn’t make sense; but that is the reality of the situation. I know from recent experience.
Great comments above. The fact of the matter is that families with children do not want to move to the suburbs any longer but they don’t want Manhattan. This is new urbanism and brownstone brooklyn is the “new suburbs”
