It was asking $1,299,000. When the building hit the market last September, its pair of million-dollar+ listings were notable for a new development in the area. Despite a steady sales run, there were still some price cuts here. However, this is definitely a huge condo sale for the neighborhood. According to StreetEasy, other units are selling for between $299,000 and $650,000.

“Why does this make any sense when you can buy a four story brownstone in the same area for $850,000 or less?”
Brownstones aren’t baller.
Insanity. I don’t care how big it is, I can’t believe anyone would spend over a million bucks to live in an ugly condo in that location.
LC, the square footage is comparable to a brownstone, but it has top of the line finishes and new everything. some ppl don’t want to be saddled with the maintenance of an old home. and even in this area, an $850,000 brownstone would likely need renovating, and some ppl want turn-key and modern style. then there’s the sunlight and the view and the elevators. brownstones are a bit light-deprived. not everyone prefers brownstone living.
That ain’t no 2br. See the additional 1200+sf of “attic/storage”, complete with mechanical closet? Hello short-ceilinged mezzanine, push up the ceilings post-closing and voila, extra 2+brs/1ba. 4+ br/3/ba in new construction 1 block from Bklyn museum, private outdoor space and parking? Sounds more like it.
It’s as… solid as a rock. Ha.
maybe hakeem jeffries decided to buy in that hot new neighborhood his broker told him about.
The people who bought this unit need to be within walking distance from the Pentacostal Church next door.
bxgrl, I can live with CroPro.
