And it looks like the screen stars almost got their full asking price: Public records show that the 5,200-square-foot limestone mansion closed for $8,450,000 on November 17. Highest price ever for Park Slope, right?

Scopello sounds excellent, I just haven’t had time to get there with all my baking. Hope you get back there soon!
That was a very slow day BRG. And yet, we must relive it once again through the magic of cut and paste.
BRG, here’s the link so you can easily distribute this to everyone going forward. I saved it because I just knew the subject would be raised once or twice (or a thousand times) by you.

“hey brg, can you quote some more comments by and about yourself? it’s really interesting!”

Quote of the Day
I remember walking from Park Slope to Pratt once, about 10 years ago. It was desolate and empty. I remember passing a huge empty red brick building on the corner of Gates and I forget what, thinking, this is a beauty, but who’s gonna want to live here. Look at the neighborhood now…it’s come a long way.

What is this algebra cubed!
BRG…I gotta side with z on that one…what the hell was that “What like” posting of quotes??
What did you have for lunch??
cobblehiller…I finally ate at Scopello the other nite (sorry Lisa, but we can still go) and the braised short rib on top of risotto au jus was one of the best I’ve ever had…i wrote a review and posted it there as well.
I’m going to try and talk lisa into giving me a job as brownstoner restaurant critic. Reading this lisa?
She’s a little narcisisstic z but it’s well warranted. 🙂

I’m all about the BBQ, myself, I’m just not sure which place makes the best. Better Half’s daughter worked at the Smoke Joint last summer – that was pretty tasty.
