Public Advocate Bill De Blasio has just released the latest Worst Landlords List with interactive maps of each borough. The city’s media has been abuzz about the list all week. Curbed and Huffington Post covered the city’s most abominable landlords. Brownstoner explained why, out of the 360 buildings listed, 168 are in Brooklyn (ubiquitous housing code violations like no hot water, heat, lead paint, or mold). Gothamist profiled the city’s allegedly “worst” landlord, Eli Abbott, who had one tenant “sitting on the toilet with an umbrella for three years.”

But what about Queens? Only 15 of the 360 buildings on the watch list are in Queens. Most of them are clustered in Ridgewood with a few others scattered in Jamaica and out in Bayside and Ozone Park. Not bad, right?
