We Heart LIC spotted signage up at Ivy 28, LIC’s newest condo building at 42-37 27th Street. Construction’s not quite finished yet, but Modern Spaces started its marketing campaign. A placeholder website says this: “Ivy 28 is a boutique, 28 residence building conveniently located in Long Island City. Featuring studio and one bedroom condominiums, the building offers walk in closets in every unit and generous, efficient layouts.”
The kitchens feature stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and custom solid wood cabinetry and the bathrooms have Kohler sinks and deep soaking tubs. The building itself will have a central courtyard. No interior pictures or prices yet, and no official date when units will hit the market.

This is one of the ugliest buildings I have ever seen, as it it is completely covered in siding, some of which is puke-green.
Sounds like they wanted to blend in with the rest of Queens.
