It was fun to read about Jukay Hsu, the founder of Coalition for Queens (and one of the contributing forces toward establishing LIC as a tech center in NYC), in the NY Times this week. He was instrumental in gathering and disseminating Hurricane Sandy related storm relief information, and opened a free temporary coworking space in LIC after the storm, for displaced workers.

He graduated from Stuyvesant High School, went to Harvard, did a tour of duty in Iraq while in the Army, and has established a life in Queens. He spends time mostly in Flushing, where he lives, and in LIC, where he works. In the interview they asked him about how he starts and ends his day as well as what his workday is like, favorite spots where he likes to eat, what he likes to read, and a few other things.
