Somehow we missed this major retail news from Tuesday: H&M “has officially signed a 15-year lease at property owner Al Laboz’s 497 Fulton Street building on the Fulton Street Mall. The 29,600-square-foot store, between Hoyt and Bridge streets, will be H&M’s first street location Brooklyn,” reports the Observer. Due to construction, it won’t open until 2010.
“And if this is anything like the H&M on 125th St it will be paradise for size 10 and under, unlike the other Manhattan stores, which seem to sell out of anything between 6 – 12 in one day.”
funniest thing i’ve heard all day! LMAO…I have only been to H&M a handful of times and i get overwhelmed by looking at so much ‘stuff’. but i think i will be checking this place out, if i can always find my size and a cute shirt for work!
