Tomorrow is a Community Painting Day for the mural going up underneath the BQE underpass between Hicks and Columbia Streets on Atlantic Avenue. Groundswell, the Atlantic Avenue BID, and the Department of Transportation assembled a team of artists (many of them students) to design a mural intended to transform a once uninspiring underpass. The Community Painting Day is for the public to join the team for a day of painting and community engagement. It will last tomorrow from 11 am to 3pm. More details here!
