An hour before Simon & Alex’s house renovation was unveiled on last night’s new episode of The Real Housewives on New York, we stopped by their Cobble Hill house for a guided tour. The reality show couple livea in the lower duplex (plus renovated cellar) with their two kids and have two rentals upstairs. Enjoy the pics! Update: As a commenter points out, how funny was that to see Marty in the background of their housewarming party on the show last night!
I’m a big fan of bordello style. Love that red!
Not my style either, though as faithful says I would much rather live there than Jill’s place and I think its great that they made a house that they feel is a reflection of them. They have also grown on me as TV characters and as people, since I got to chat with them at the last Stoner gathering. Congrats guys.
Marty is everywhere…There were some aspects of the reno that I thought were nice and others not so much. We all have different taste and as long as Alex and Simon are happy with their reno — Congrats!! I do think their place is more inviting than Jill’s — sorry.
BRG, I believe nice people can have hideous taste too ya know.
each to their own.
OMG!!!! Someone that saw the show last night, please tell me it looks better than these photos.
I don’t know if I should hold my tongue or let it rip, as I’m sure Alex & Simon are lovely people as noted by others who met them at the last B’stoner drink up.
That red room screams ‘Den of Iniquity’ but other than that, it’s ok. With everything looking so shiny and new, it was a bit shocking to see the pale floors and stair spindles.
alex and simon are the heart and soul of brooklyn, and i will continue to worship and adore them no matter how bordello red their living room. now ya know!
yes – Marty was totally at their party!
Let’s see – I realllly like the kitchen – the rest of the reno not my style some of the flooring I liked I think in the living room
however my husband said their renovation was way better than Jill’s – so there you go…
