He spent about $10,000 on gutting and expanding the old bathroom on the fourth floor of a Crown Heights brownstone, purchasing the honey onyx tile by the pallet at marble liquidators in Hicksville for $5 per square foot. The bidet and toilet are from Loews and the shower unit (complete with telephone and radio) came from eBay for $3,000. Empty bottle of wine? Priceless.

And for those who want a radio for their shower, you can totally buy a battery operated one that hangs from your shower head. I have one, its a sony thats am/fm and plays cds, runs on C batteries. I think it was only 30 dollars or so. I miss it when I forget to stock up on C batteries!

What happened to the scuttle ladder going up to the roof. Looks like he eliminated that. One assumes there is more than one access point to the roof or he will regret that later.
