Property Shark has compiled a list of the ten largest single-family homes in Brooklyn, and, in a city known for its small spaces, these places are big. The largest home – and the oldest – is 119 95th Street, built in 1847 with 29,126 square-feet of space. This Greek Revival wood home in Bay Ridge (known as the James Farrell Residence, after the Tammany Hall pol) was built originally on the waterfront until it was moved here in 1913. The other nine homes are between 12,196 and 16,914 square feet. Six were built after 1995. And according to this map, they are concentrated in South Brooklyn. The pictures are of the top five properties that did not have under-construction photos via Property Shark, check out the full list after the jump.
