Advice sought for recovering money from non-delivered tiles

Brownstoners, 
I bought and exchanged some tiles from A&K Tiles on 9th Street. While waiting for the new tiles, the store went out of business without notifying me. I have tried to contact them many times but they have not gotten back to me. I went to the Better Business Bureau who has not been able to get in touch with them either. Any ideas?

If this organization has gone into bankruptcy, you will have to wait in line with a lot of creditors.  I am not a lawyer, so I can not tell you the process but I assume (if this is a bankruptcy) a judge will decide who gets what – if anything.
