COO vs Tax Class

the C of O takes priority on the finance department tax class. if your tax is not too high, i think u better leave it. it may will help u to change the C of O back into 3 family in case u would like to sell it. 3 family are usually have higher value than an identical single family.

Why would the COO and Tax Class be different on a house? COO has been 1-family for 10+ years, but Tax Class still shows as C0 (3-family). Are there any potential downsides to correcting the Tax Class (would it reset the 6-20 adjusment maybe?).
