Accountant or Tax preparer recommendations

I am in search of recommendations for a knowledgeable and trustworthy accountant or tax preparer.  Especially looking for someone with expertise deadling with rresidential rental properties and the sale of a rental property.  My last tax preparer got me into something of a pickle and I have spent the last year trying to unravel the mess. I now realize that I am only making it worse and so need some advice from someone who knows what they are talking about.  I’m on a budget so looking for someone economical, but I got what I paid for the last time so don’t want to make that mistake again.
