I’ve used them for about a decade. Abedin can be a bit tricky to track down (leave a message) but he usually shows up when available. Excellent brownstone work and they have also done some interior repairs and general contractor stuff. Reasonable price. Recommend A-

There did not seem to be wire mess in the stucco. Quite frankly it was sort of peeling off in parts. I was told that the stucco had not been properly applied (long before I bought house). The brick is in decent condition, with some paint remaining here and there. Really glad I had it done before one of my rear parapets crashed to the ground or one of my window openings caved in.

Putnam— removing my crumbling rear stucco is a dream. My house has wire mesh and I fear the condition of the brick might be terrible. Did you have wire mesh stucco?

They did rear facade work for me last year. The job was to remove stucco and repoint the underlying bricks. The scope of the job expanded as we realized there had been extensive deterioration of the mortar due to water damage (many of bricks were sitting on top of piles of sand, held in place by the stucco and laziness). They addressed that problem with a very reasonably placed change order. They were friendly and professional. Their carpentry work on the cornice was not quite as good as their masonry work – perhaps we should have discussed my expectations more upfront. I was not on site all the time, which I think slowed it down as they moved workers to other more demanding clients. I was generally quite satisfied.
