UV Storm Windows

That is a great idea. Alas I do not have any more info for you, but I would think any storm window company would be able to provide glass/plastic with a UV filter. Also there is a plastic UV-filtering film you can apply to any window including your existing storms.

Hi all. We have about ~25 windows that need new storms on them, and many of them face south or west which gets lots of direct sun year round, which is wonderful except for the fact that it fades our belongings. We’re restoring our original wood sash windows but would like to replace the existing (and poorly installed) storms with some new storms that filter out UV light. Does anyone have any recommendations for such a project? The majority of our windows are standard double hung though we do have casements that will need interior UV storms as well. Thanks in advance!
