problem with neighbor due to party wall

one story masonry/brick attached house we are going to add 2 floor back only, neighbor is complaining for use of party wall … what should we do?

To build your additional 2 floors on top of a party will is impossible. A party wall is a shared wall, half of it is on your property the other half is on their property. The Property line runs straight through the middle of it.
If both buildings are one stories, what makes you think that that wall is strong enough to carry another 2 stories?. Have you had an engineer look at both sides and the footings?
When you want to add an additional 2 stories to your property in a situation like this, you should probably build a whole new wall on your side of the property line. Yes, you will loose square footage and it will cost quite a bit of money etc…. but that is your cost if you choose to expand rather than just move to a bigger house.

Your post doesn’t have enough information. If you get it permitted and inspected there isn’t an issue. What does “complaining for use” even mean????
