Metalwork Restoration

Hi — I think we met once at a Brownstoner function. I have a question for you: We have a window cage in a bedroom with a lock and key. We would like to get a quick release one instead for safety reasons. The ones I have seen let in very little light. Is it possible to get one fabricated or customized so it allows in light but is still secure? The window is 80 inches tall and about 30 inches wide, so there is plenty of room. We are also looking to do some other minor iron work. Thank you!
