Help needed to improve curb appeal for my new house!

It will be tough to convert this into a proper brownstone but it is doable. Remove the siding and apply a brick facade. Brownstone over this. Use slate roofing shingles to make the top look like a mansard roof. And try to add at least one additional story.

We just bought this house and appreciate your advise on top 3-5 things we need to improve curb appeal – exterior paint, roof, etc.

If you are just looking for totally subjective opinions I’ve got them!

I would focus on the stairs. Making them more functional? From the looks of it they go to the left then wrap around to the right? I would want it so that someone walking from the driveway (assuming there is one…) has a clear shot to the front door. Then landscaping. Then that lattice thing on the left of the house assuming it is yours.

Obviously, if the roof is old and needs replacing then replace the roof first.
