Enthusiastic Recommendation for Forerunner Creations (Ironwork Restoration)

Hi all,

We went through exhaustive research to find our ironwork restoration contractor and know it is a frequent request on the forum. Now that we are in the final installation phases of our project, I wanted to give a shout out to our contractor and extend the offer for folks to pass by our house if they’d like to see the work in progress.

Forerunner Creations has done a spectacular job on our stoop’s original ironwork restoration. Our ironwork was crumbling and we couldn’t postpone the work any longer. He returned yesterday with the finished pieces, including two newel posts that are 60% new materials (he worked hard to salvage as much as possible) and you can’t tell the newly cast pieces from what was original. They all look spectacular.

That is some beautiful work! We just engaged them to do the drawings and filings for ours. I wish we had as much original iron left as you did, it’s so great to see what they can do.
