Anyone had installed home alarm system?

Hello everyone,
Currently, we are renovating our home and it’s in the final process. We are planning to add a residential alarm system( https://www.apialarm.com/residential-security/) after the renovations.
No one would be at home during day time, children would be at the school and my husband and I would be at the workplace. So, installing an advanced security system would allow us to remotely access our home and it gives you an extra layer of defense against any potential intruders. I would like if anyone here has installed an alarm system in your home. If yes, please share your experience.

We installed an alarm for our house using local business Alarms R Us. We’ve used them for 8 years and have always been pleased with their service.

I would be very interested in this as well. We are looking at Ring and Simplisafe now, but perhaps there are other better options?
