How long does it take for a condo building to receive their Certificates of Occupancy?

They don’t have a TCO.

One of my clients has been waiting for a few years now. It would depend upon how much of the work was one properly and if anyone is really pushing to get the C of O issued. Do they have a tempoary one at least?

The property is new contruction and has changed owners in 2010 streeteasy has units listed as of 107 days.  I asked the agent if the building had it’s certificate of occupancy and I was told 3-4 weeks.  It’s been 2 weeks now.  I’ve made an offer on a unit hopeing to close before the holidays.  Wouldnt the owners work on getting the CO before listing units?

See if they have a TCO, if not who knows. My client’s closed on their units years ago. The building for years said it would be a few weeks.
