Kitchen Vent

you might try installing rubber washers between any connecting pieces of metal, like the screws that hold the vent screen onto its frame. This should stop the pieces from rattling together and dampen the noise.

The building cleaned the kitchen and bathroom vents.  Now the kitchen vent is so loud I can’t stand it.  Before the vent was operational and quiet.  What do I do? They cleaned the vents throughout the building.
