I’m looking for some feedback regarding hydro-jetting a sewer line. Has anyone had this done to their sewer line? Who did you use for this, would you recommend them? Did it solve the sewer problem?

I’ve never heard of hydro-jetting. Where would it be indicated instead of the kind of work that a company like Roto-Rooter does?

Hydro jetting is generally done for maintenance. A water-powered pressure wash for the inside of your pipes. Snaking is done to remove a clog in a stopped pipe.

The main sewer line was snaked and cleared, but after having the main sewer line inspected by camera we see roots that need to be removed, not a clog. This is an ongoing issue with our house in PLG. Very heavy rains combined with an unsnaked main sewer line causes flooding in the basement. The camera inspection shows a sewer line in excellent condition. So I’m thinking hydro-jetting can help.
